Few weeks ago I upgraded to Windows 7 (official CD), everything worked perfect. On Thursday I burned a CD and everything was fine. I shut off my laptop normally etc. Yesterday I turned it on and went to burn a CD, but I-tunes gave me an error says Burner or software not available. So I checked all the basics etc, I went to Device manager and 'CD/DVD rom' isn't there anymore and it it isn't in 'my computer'. The drive has power, it opens up and closes and when I put a disc in it just spins and the light flashes but nothing happens. Would anyone be able to help me out? Maybe I'm doing something wrong here? I've googled a bunch of stuff and tried it but no luck, or maybe I just need a new Drive? all the help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
