I was Wondering How do you guys like this cd?
I thought it was a bad ass cd to start with!
The Song Selection and the beat was Great, This is the first cd i really like.
This is Defintly something to play at a Party!

First Of All!!!...this CD had good songz but some songz i heard needed a lil more mastering...and a few songz shudnt have been remixed...i felt like i heard this one beat in like 20 of the songz!!!...I am disappointed cuz the Tracklist seemz nice but alot of the tracks like "Hotel Room" shudnt have been remixed cuz i dnt think it waz really a good mix...but I am just a person stating my opinion!...this CD iz a 5/10...Big Ups To DJ Shameer for doin a CD wid a mix of Genres though!!!...

if Shameer Did better eqing on some tracks it wud be better

yo i enjoyed it; i realize the beats repeat but eh, when ur mixing up songs to spin who really cares... 7/10....not a bad cd, just needs a lil bit more mastering, and originality...:bananaparty:

 

I like the cover alot, Dj Shameer cds always do well and this one will sure be good for the Holidays.

 

The beats for several of the songs sound about the same and its pretty basic but this cd proppa baaad. Definetely material to drop at a party..

 

First off... Shameer's style is somewhat unique.
It may sound typical to most, but his beat patterns and layers are out of the ordinary.
Def. not a bad thing.
But if this is what sells, he should continue to do what he is doing.
Its good to have a variety of genres on a cd to keep a certain level of interest that appeals an average listener.
The majority of us on this site go for something new.
We all want to hear something new, clean and worth holding on to.
Not all cd's will be like that.
This is one cd to me, I would actually listen to every now and again cause its far off from what I would normally do.
But look at it this way... If Shameer can release a cd like this and do well, shouldnt we do something like it?
Instead of procrastinating with perfection, maybe it isnt necessary.
I guess, Im talking more about myself.
Ive held out to do alot of projects dude to perfection.
If im not satisfied, I just wont use it.
Idk...

Respect to the man Shameer.
I think he should def. continue doing what he's doing.
A little more effort here and there wouldnt hurt, but not a bad cd at all

 

This cd was a reall nice cd to throw at partys

 

Nice selection....IDK about that summer of 69 mix though sounds weird. Overall I give this cd a 9/10. Hey it's something new to the market that reaches out to different crowds.

 

speaking of selection your cd Put Your Drinks Up, is a pretty different selection, I probably nah know like 80% of songs on there and they are oldies, which I usually know a bit, but interesting to say the least. And couple of your tracks were very chipmunk ish. How long you been remixing?. Anyway good luck with the cd, hope it does excellent.

 

hot cd. and it is true, theirs something in all of his beats that sound different than that of the raped version of the beat that was thought to be used. Hes definetly different, the song selection was amazing, lots of things i want to listen to. Definetly some tracks i would use at a party, some not. cd gets a 8/10.

Thanks, I really don't mix oldies but i'm trying. Everyone knows that's what stays alive in this market. I was signed with Zone Records, I've been remixing since 2005 but I'm currently under Sound Proof Int'l specializing playing Dancehall music at various clubs in NY (mostly brooklyn and manhattan) ....Vishal was the one who told me to go forward and put it out...I know some songs sound a little weird but I couldn't change anything because I lost the file anyways we'll see how it goes.

 

yo this CD is str8 and big upz for Biggf0sh0 for posting it and for Shatta starting a threads on it. i saw this Cd would get the party/wedding started and shit i say its an 8/10 cause itz come great ass chunes..but like other ppl i too notice is the eqing and mastering and overrated beatz... but this CD is nice yo itz a kbis Cd of course its gonna sound good lol...

 

Lol yeh same here bro, lil more eq nd master wud be better, Buh idk about the "if it is a kbis its gonna sound good" Because kbis dropped alot wack ass cd, Only dhis cd came out to be good for dha past few months!

i was chillin with shameer last night he was like he did pretty well on the CD (sale count?) but wasnt his best mixes... carrib splash 2 was his best? dude can mix live reallllll good tho.... drunken like fuk LOL.... i didnt get to hear the CD yet he gonna gimme a copy but the link on mastahpiece for the DL doesnt work for me... can anyone check it for me please thanksss
