Aight so I logged into Limewire, just to see if I can find anything new
But there was no connection, and I could not download.

I was not sure why this was happening because my connection
is working and my firewall is not blocking anything on Limwire.

So I uninstalled Limewire a couple times
and reinstalled hoping it would work, but it didnt.
I tried Frostwire and the samething happened.

So I am wondering if anyone on here can help me
out with what is going on.

So can anyone help me out? Thanks.

    Hey DJ,

This Usually will be a problem with Java, delete all the Java updates except the latest one, then lime-wire should boot up as usual, if this doesn't work try completely removing Java and re-downloading it, Also make sure you have all the service packs for XP -Vista (wheresoever you are running , also i wouldn't turn off my firewall, your opening yourself up for attack by doing that.

If this doesn't work i suggest uninstalling it and download 360Share, its exactly the same as lime-wire just tends to be faster, looks nicer and is less prone to Viruses, there is even a free version on their website:

    http://www.360share.com/
Hope this helps & Good luck trying to diagnose the problem.
