Johnny Depp - Favourite Actor of the Decade

I had to make a thread about this because he's my absolute favourite actor!

Last night, Johnny Depp took home the "Favourite Movie Actor of the Decade Award" at the People's Choice Awards. Throughout the decade he starred in movies such as, From Hell, Finding Neverland, Blow, Secret Window, Chocolat, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, Public Enemies, and of course...the POTC trilogy!

I think he mos def deserved this award, mainly because of the POTC trilogy. But, I've seen all those movies, and he never seems to let me down when it comes to acting. But in your opinion, do you agree that he deserved this award, or should it have went to someone else? And who?

I know this is just one movie I'm mentioning but Heath Ledger acted Amazing in the Joker's role in 'The Dark Knight' , can't reall imagine many other people in that role.. Favorite actor of the decade doesn't necessarily have to go to who was the best. Johnny Depp is pretty popular but definitely not taking anything away from his 00'-09' performances. Good selection in the end I guess.

Vish - For the decade it means from 2000 to 2009. But, Alice in Wonderland is one of my movies by him that I can't wait to come out! And I've actually heard good things about The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. So I'm gonna check that one out soon!

gtzshotta - I know what you mean about Heath Ledger! He played a phenomenal role as The Joker! Definitely a role by him to remember!
