Maybe if Lebron had a better supporting
cast and if the players were able to stay injury free
they would have maybe won a championship

damn whizzad ODed on this thread, but nonetheless kobe is in his prime now and is definetly up there, but you cant exactly consider him better then lebron, or any1 for that mater, just becuase some1 sucked when they were a rookie doesnt mean they arent going to be good, just look at gilbert arenas...
so on i wouldnt consider some1 the best until they have retired, so until kobe a lebron retire you cant say whose the best, for now its Michael Jordan

 

vs. the west the cavaliers are 16-5. vs the east the cavs are 18-6. i don't see a difference their. point shut down. this year the cavs are 2-0 against the lakers. lakers team was healthy both games. cavs missed mo williams in the second one. second point shut down as to who is the better team THIS YEAR. also on the other side, i'd like to say that the lakers aren't a one man team at all. whoever said that doesn't know what they are talking about because we seen the lakers when they were just all kobe, and that team got knocked out of the playoffs easily by the suns. i hope these two teams meet in the finals cause lets face it, theres no better matchup than this.

Iiite, so lebron is a beast, just looki at his stats, the way he plays, and ability to dominate games..BUT, ima have to go with KOBE. Kobe in the past decade won 4 championships, last year proved he cud do it WITHOUT shaq, after people critisized him, lebron has not won a championship yet, so he cant be considered better, this year is his best chance and if he does, den maybe he can match up, and one day be better than him, but if ya talking about AS OF YET...without a doubt, its kobe bryant.

 

Lebron James no doubt... this man might not have four rings but he certainly has more skill than kobe bryant.
this man has more triple doubles to keep track of (Assists, Points, and Rebounds)... If Lebron has the ball
going to the hole with speed, niggaz back off cuz dey scared dey gonna die lol...

Kobe has a jumper, more rings and he is the all time best closer... but i still dont think that beats the skill Lebron has

Are you serious? Where's the rings? He's been in the league for what, 4 years? Kobe has a shitload of talent around him and not to take anything away from him, he's a great player, but he's not better than LeBron in all facets of the game.

And back to your ring question, believe me, in due time. He'll get his and that's inevitable.

It's funny how now everybody's on kobe's nuts. After shaq left, for about 2-3 years the lakers were garbage. They had guys like smush parker and chris mihm starting. Kobe couldn't even carry them into the playoffs 2 out of those 3 years. Then the lakers go and basically get Gasol for nothing, Derek Fisher comes back and they finally start doing good. LeBron has done more with less, than Kobe has. I don't how many times a game I see Varejao's sorry ass blow an easy layup off a beautiful pass from LeBron. If LeBron had guys like Gasol and Odom who can finish around the rim, rather than Varejao/Hickson/a 38 yr old Shaq, he'd have a ring too. Matter of fact he'd have a couple. Face it, LeBron carries his sorry ass teammates night in and night out. So before any of you Kobe fanboys hop out, compare Varejao/Hickson/Shaq to Gasol/Bynum/Odom and look at the Cav's record compared to the Laker's record.
Cav's= 35-11
Laker's=33-11
And for the record, i'm not even a cav's fan, but I gotta give credit where it's due.

i can't stand kobe or lebron because of their cocky atitudes but still give them their props. Both of them are real good players but i would rather watch lebron because of the excitement he brings to the game.
