ravi b lost many fans for the 2011 year, because the older people didnt like any off his songs, the 2 people that i think that has a better chance to win the 2012 chutney monarch based on only popularity at this moment is K.I and Rick Ramoutar. I personally think ravi b is trash and the only song he can actually sing is ah drinka. Look it like this it took ravi b many years to win the monarch or at least place second, it took K.I two.

as for songs after each monarch ravi b only releases like one or two more songs.he released ah rose,which i actually like, and has been doing collaborations with many artist.plus before the monarch he released 4, i dont think he got any more money to waste

Ravi B. just released a new song called "Devika".
And its actually a fast paced chutney song with dholak & harmonium.
Sounds like something he would've released in 2005.

Radica won because it was different from the normal chutney trash that was being produced and was a song that everyone came to like.

Radica was indeed a hit. It proves a guy could sing only ONE GOOD song and make it to the top, but when your on the top, theres only one other place you can go, DOWN.

Kenneth Salick released Radica, won the monarch. Where is he today?
Trashy songs like Every Move Ah Make, Sky Is Blue, Daru, I Doh Believe Dat.
He didnt even make it to any finals in 2011 CSM. Thats sad.
