So I have a uBee router for my house for Wifi. I'm currently connected to it on my laptop. When I go to web pages, the web pages load very slowly and some time out. What is the cause of this? When I use my main computer that is connected to the router directly, it loads pages fast without any timing out.

    Download: 20 mbps
    Upload: 2.01 mbps

My download and upload speed isn't affected by this timing out and loading web pages slow issue. I went in to my router settings and changed the channel like three times. I don't know if the channel is the problem.

I don't think it has anything to do with my download and upload speeds.

It has nothing to do with how much Mbps it is.

i had the same issue, it usually resolves itself, but you can unplug your router and then plug it back in. You can also try to let the webpage fail when loading and then google the error number and hopefully theres something that can further assist you.

    then Reboot

not might not even fix the problem cus i cant see it but try it.

Usually when it times out, it doesn't give an error number. It just says "Google can't display the website, try again later" or something.

Do I do that on my laptop or do I do it on my computer thats connected directly to the modem/router? Also what exactly does flushing the DNS do?

do it on main computer that's connected directly to the modem/router

    it reset the cache
cache which stores the IP address attached to frequently used DNS names
lol alot more info to it

it's up to you if you want to run that command i don't want to mess up your internet

like Streetburna said it usually resolves itself
