lol na since people voting for the best label . let them come up with the cds they like from the following genre of music. and we will see what label has the most number1..
Maybe this is how some of you should come up with your vote of who is the best label. and not based it on someone having a website, and there own radio station that has about 10 listeners max on a given day, or also have there own form mob , there on promo team, lol boy Q Styles was right when he once said nothing good ever come out of canada .. lol

Oh skites bai let me make this following statement cuz i just got a phone call with someone highly upset and i clearly want to say that my statements that i made is all in fun, its just my way of poking a lil fun at people sumtin.. we all know i was with kbis for years and while i was there i clearly had alot of love for them and still do to this day. Like i stated b4 doing this business is enuff stress as it is, so for everyone doing keep doing your thing its no competition , we all are trying at the end of the day. So lets enjoy the music everyone puts out , eat drink and spoat rass and try not to kill each other cuz at the end of the day we all family.

im not gonna say what i think the best label is because you guys are comparing a label that has been around for 15 years to some new ones that started a couple years ago, but i think de joint is stepping there game up, this is rogers year. hes been releasing cd week by week, he if continues at this rate, de joint will def be at the top

All I got to say is the cds i put out I try to be different from what the other guys are doing, my cds might not be fast movers but over the period of time, they sell , i mean doing a best of shammie alot of people is not going to run out to get it , but over some time the real shammie fans will pick it up and appreciate a cd like that. Sometimes its difficult to try and come up with new ideas and new cds, thats going to be different from th other two guys doing cds also, i mean come on i did
    bajan cd
    instrumential cd
    country cd
    soul cd
    spanish cd
. Cuz why would i run and do a whole bunch of indian cds, bigshat label got them oldies indian cds on lock, man have good people doing good stuff, so i just try to full another void in the market, this way we all could put stuff out and not do the same thing each one is doing.. But i starting to notice alot of what i did last year with blends indian and love cds starting to come out else where so if anyone is paying attention they should know who the real trendsetter is.

Mannnn at this point, who gives a sh-t. Fuk'em all! Seems like there will always be things that we don't know about these peoples businesses and there is nothing wrong with that but what does tick me off, is there is always reasons and excuses for certain things about these labels that make the label so god damn wack. Fu-k it, if these labels cannot meet eye to eye with certain one of us, then start a new label and show the world how better and stress free it can be to run it. If people think collecting money from a bunch of Coolie store owners is stress, then I find that fu-king pathetic. This thread should have been just a poll and comments disabled.

    - it depends solely what you distinguish to be "the best". some listeners value quality than material. some people don't care, and others can't even tell the difference. kbis obviously been in the game longer which proves why they have so many big cds, which were all mainly stylistic and indiflo.

if bigshat's quality cds were present in those years, the market would of had a major turn around, and more people would still look forward to every release they put out.

Until there is some originality, remix music is not worth listening to. You know it's going downhill when you prefer listening to "remixes" posted up by individual Dj's as opposed to "Remix Cds" that have been ripped and uploaded. The talent is out there, however the originality, with an exception of a few, is non-existent. It's a shame that listeners have to put up with the the same "60's,70's,80's,90's hindi song" remixed a thousand times by a million different "remixers". On the other hand, some "remixers"just need to un-install Acid Pro from their "custom built" PC, set aside the crappy, low quality headphones, and pick up a book, or better yet study for the SAT''s. Leave the "remixing"for the big boys. That's all I have to say. As far as the best record lable out there right now, isn't the "Pungalunks Factory" a West Indian Record label? Just saying.....

You dont need to put out cd's to be a label. A record label is anyone that puts out records, which are essentially songs/tracks/w.e you wanna call it. Yall just put out cd's with pirated/modified records.
