    I think its a phase of hating your own coolie music. I could not stand Indian music at one point and now that's all i listen to.
    also Soca , Dancehall, and Reggae!

    bro i spin dancehall and soca everytime im home from college, in the house, plus im half black so i can choose either side.
    i find indian music incredibly annoying. no disrespect intended. what roots u talking about.

    I grew up listening to indian, chutney, and soca. Those are still my favorite genres. I also like old reggae.
