With the NBA season starting in just 4 days, I would like to know what some of you think will happen this season. I would also like to know what you think about some of the moves some teams made over the off-season.

Ill start by saying I think the top 10 teams (from best to worst) are:

    1) Heat
    2) Bulls (My fav. to win finals)
    3) Thunder
    4) Clippers (My fav. to win western conf.)
    5) Pacers
    6) Nets
    7) Rockets
    8) Warriors
    9) Knicks
    10) Spurs

I just want to say also I'm not a heats fan, but this is a unbiased order.

I say Knicks vs Miami eastern finals. Thunder vs Warriors western finals. But the Rockets looking good so far. Rose is one of my fav player but i don't think they got enough pieces to beat Miami. Being a Knicks fan, Jr and STAT has to step up their game.

Well with rose back, jimmy butler being a player on the rise, and noah being healthy and possibly being a contender for defensive player of the year, i think they do have a great chance. Knicks i do think are strong but there having line-up issues, for them to pull together is gunna be difficult, especially when u got players who just want the ball. I would also say warriors in the western conference finals but there gunna have the same line-up issues that the knicks have. there going to want to play barnes but now with iggy they possibly have to play him on the bench, which i dont think is fair to barnes.

I'm predicting that it will all come down to the Heat vs. Clippers. I want the Mavericks or Heat to win the finals because Vince Carter and Dwayne Wade are my favorite players. I think the Mavericks will do better than last year since they signed a couple decent players like Monta Ellis, Devin Harris, Jose Calderon, and Samuel Dalembert. They have Carter coming off the bench and he puts up decent numbers but I have a feeling its still going to be a challenge for Nowitzki and the Mavericks.

Although I have been a Knicks fan since the start, I dont think they have the surrounding pieces to make it to the ECF. It will probably be a Bulls and Heat showdown to the finals. As for the Western Conference, anything can happen there, with Howard and the Rockets, Westbrook coming back after injury for the Thunder, same for Kobe and the Lakers, the consistent Spurs, and new look Clippers its all fair game there. Definitely will be an interesting season, the Heat have some strong competition coming.

Well that is my opinion, I don't think the Nets are title contenders, but definitely a playoff team that will go deep into the second round. and i would put the Rockets higher but they have issues on the line-up plus, you don't know if Howard is gunna have the same reaction in Huston as he did in L.A. because harden is the face of the team, and Howard is going to want to be, its to the point were you don't know if Howard is going to want to share the spotlight. the Thunders are just way more established with Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka. same with the Pacers with George, Granger, and Hibbert.

I'm a Miami Heat fan but I really hope Brooklyn make it to finals this year. They got a bad ass team right there....

The blazers really stepped their game up, they have no.1 seed in the west, I think its going to be heat and blazers in the finals even though pacers are no.1 in the east is because heat plays better in the playoffs. Bulls are not going anywhere with Rose injured again.
