recovery cd , back up everything onto an external ,and do a fresh install

sounds good - have u tried all the available anti virus scanners? see if they can delete it. Avast should do it. If not, try and see if you can find the file where the virus is (your antivirus should show this), so find the file which the virus is created\embedded itself into, and just delete it, which SHOULD save you the time and hassle of backing up, reinstalling etc

Lesson for next time: Lay off the porn

that's not the fail safe way to do it, because as everyone know's some virus multiply, for instance, sometimes you download something , thinknig its something and its not, next thing you know, you see icons on your desktop that werent there before, yeah thats because the virus has multiplyd into multiple programs, doing a fresh boot is what a recommend and is probably the only way to gaurentee 100% clean

i think u mean reformat... anyways, get urself a copy of whatever operating system u have, and backup all your drivers using a program like driver max. then format your partition and reinstall ur OS and then reinstall drivers and programs. done. if u have a recovery disk or partition use that instead.

Never mind Guys! I downloaded this program, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it's working perfectly like before and its going faster.

If any of you guys have problems with trojans or spyware i recommend using that.
