Not a big fan of the cd. the beats are nice and so are the songs but i kinda expected more... thats the thing wit big names in the market, you expect something, and when u dnt get it no matter how good it is your still dissapointed.

 

THEY ALL DUETS, LOL.
Also, early 80's and 90's songs were mostly duets, and coolie people usually relate to the early 90's era well. I wont be surprised if this CD rips up Liberty ave.

This CD just goes to show that Younus can take any which song, and make it his. Simple selection, complex production. Wicked CD.

 

these aren't my type of indian music so i can't really rate this cd based on my thoughts. however, that noorie remix was off the hook. some of you may notice i mentioned "snares" in a lot of my reviews on the forum. if you listen to that remix, you'll notice what i am talking about. the dekha hai pehli bar remix was really good as well, the veena loop really spiced it up. for the mera naam salaami remix, i was expecting something a bit more original and hot. i wasn't too fond of the beat used on that song. the mere sanam remix still didn't take out dutty flex's mix. one thing i'm urged to hear on this cd when it releases, is the bpm changing. i notice a lot of bpm shifting in this sample and really want to hear how they played it off on the actual cd. when it releases, i can then post an honest and more reliable review.

 

I hate when nice peaceful songs get mix with too hard of a beat , it kinda lost that sad feeling to it, I love noorie song that mix sound too strong for such a chunee.

 

yeahhhhhhhh thats the chune man..see indi flo has it natural they dont remix with too hard of a beat or ruin it..its like they know how it should be remixed to entertain the crowd

 

Roger - I AM THERE WITH YOU! Aaja Re and Humne Tumse Pyar SHOULDNT have been mixed like that... BTW, You ever seen the video for Humne Tumse Pyar?! Ugliest couple I've ever seen yo! LOL. Watchin' the video kinda ruined the song to me too haha.

- Noorie: This mix AGAIN, shouldnt have been mixed this way. The beat had all the right samples in it, I agreed, but NOT for such a peaceful song.
- Mera Naam Salaami - I agree with you on your comment. I did expect a little more with the mix as well, maybe there is alot more when we hear the actual verse on the full version?!
- Mere Sanam - Honestly, I liked my version of this song ALOT better than Dutty Flex's. I still wanna hear someone else do a decent mix of this song. I remembered Jonesy's mix of this song as well. Another great piece of work. Maybe Ill put this song as the next Challenge on the forum.

i never rate music like that. who cares if a very sentimental track is mixed uptempo. if that was the case, house music wouldn't be where it is today. yes noorie is more of a gentle track, but the fact that the remix itself sounds good, made me like the mix. remix is a remix. who cares if the song is not meant to be mixed the way it was done by indiflo, the remix was off the hook!

not the norm but it happens sometimes, don't worry wild temptation wil be out this weekend, I know how much a lot of people looking forward to that cd, might be the sleeper cd for the holidays.
