Are you using a NAS?

    Are you guys using a NAS (Network Attached Storage)?

    Personal, I use the Western Digital My Cloud Mirror 4TB in RAID0, my overall experience is very positive.
    I'd bought this @ WD self, with a great discount, but I'm courious to your experiences.

    I have heard of a few of them Synology, QNAP, WD
    what is your need for a NAS?

    I also like to buy a NAS, but i am still thinking about the security issues. Synology never heard from.

    Synology I think is the most famous and 1 of the best devices to use as NAS. Google it, you will be thrilled to buy one also ( I think :p )

    I use a LaCie Network Space 2... be sure to look for one with gigabit ethernet (1000 mbps)

    In stead of searching a NAS that supports 1000mbps you can better find a NAS that CAN write over. The 100mbps thats unique.

    What kind of WD you have? Mine is pretty quick.

    I too so use WD MY Clould, works great for me so far, I also use it with my phones and tablets whenever i need to get any data.

    Do you have the normal My Cloud of the My Cloud Mirror?

    got a HP MediaVault MV2010 for daily operations and a Netgear ReadNAS for backup of files and streaming camera
