    Yes, the original is from the 1987 movie "Param Dharam" sung by Salma Agha.
    There's a version also in the 1988 movie "Ek Hi Maqsad" sung by Asha Bhosle.
    Pankaj Udhas also has a version of the song as well.
    In the chutney realm, Atiya also did a sing back in the 90's.
