does anything think that microsoft is setting them selves for failure by making more power hungry OS's

wheres the common sense in that?
does effciency click in there ****ing rand d department?

this is why computers will keep needing newer processors and ram and hds because you got ****ing ram sucking Os running it.

they should of took xp and made a version which allows the users to run it as 64bit with as many cores possible, but keeping it less reliable on ram and resources.

instead they come out with another money sucking pos program that everyone is gonna eventually upgrade too for no ****ing reason with no real benefits beside the eye candy that OSX had years ago.

im not impressed with 7 they should did that shit from the begging, or tried to improve xp.

evfery couple years they build a os then knock it down with new one.

    ****ING STUPID.

    im sticking with xp in my next computer **** 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 20

apple is gonna realease snow lepoard this year which will donkey shit all over windows 7 because they had the common sense to focus on performance not bullshit features.

its the reason why apple computers always have a better bench mark for there specs compared to the same speced computer running xp or any windows program.

You can't really compare OSX or Snow Leapord to Windows XP/Vista/7

Plus of course apple's computers have good performance because they have amazing hardware.

Their Mac Pro has EIGHT ****ING CORES
and 2 MOTHERBOARD, i'm sorry, one motherboard and a Daughterboard which is just insane.

That is why OSX and Snow Leapord can run so well.

Plus it's a mac, theres no gaming so you can never truly need a ton of Ram, so its's all directed towards making everything look nice.

    i know
but in regards to overall os performance with specific hardware you mean to tell me MS could have done a better job?

the macpro does have 8 cores but the base model core i7 is giving the macpro a run for its money at 2.66ghz via bench marks.

im sure 2.93 ghz i7 is putting the 8 core to rest. with speed to spare.

supposedly the new mac pro is gonna have gaintown processors which is the i7 in xeon form but suppose to cost 3K base.

i know mac isnt known for gaming but multimedia can be just as intense as some games, especially when you want to get rendering times down.

i think thats a wrong move. one thing with dell i hate how they be integrating everything into it. when you need to replace a part, you would have to open up every bloodclaath to get to it. i had a dell laptop before and i went through helll tryna fix it and the problem to now still keeps coming back.

ge force 9800gt card i think this shit is too much i dont even play games on my computer
    not even ****ing solitare skunt.

    right now im at 1893
im thinking of going down to the core i7 2.66ghz but i cant find any bench marks i could save 270 bucks and feed the children.

i still need a ethernet card i was like hrmmm how am i gonna get online lol
    and i need a OS.
i guess xp pro or i might go bootleg and see how far that takes me till i have to reboot the whole shit lol,
i think my mother board is too cheap thinking asus or something.

im feeling confident here man shit i just watched some video off youtube explaining what to configure one so, i picked the parts and now this looks good and its cheap for the amount of power.

i dont have my pc anymore i sold it to my sister. she needed one more then i did currently.
