How Do You Guys Organize Ya Music?

    Just wonderin' how you guys organize ya music, since i'm sure everyone here has 1000's of songs..

    This is how I set up my collection in VDJ n itunes for quick access..

    DJ FOLDER
    ---GENRES
    --------POP
    --------REGGAE
    --------SPANISH
    --------OTHERS
    ---MISC
    ------SPECIFIC PEOPLE (folder i use to put music that dif types of ppl will like using ppl i kno)
    ------DJ CLIPS (use dis to put remixes that have good sound bytes etc)
    ------DUBPLATES
    ------IMITATORS (songs that sound lyke other songs/ remakes)
    ------LOVE SONGS
    ------NEED ORIGINAL (songs i need the original to)
    ---ORIGINALS
    ------INDIAN
    ------CHUTNEY
    ------SOCA
    ------REGGAE
    ---REMIXES
    ----CHUTNEY
    ------ALTERNATIVES (remixes of songs that arent as good as your fav remix of a song)
    ------AMERICANIZED (songs that would sound mixed with american style)
    ------CHILLIN (eating music, chillin music)
    ------DRUMS (music wid dem heavy drums wid a good beat)
    ------GT CLASSICS (music for meh gt ppl n dem.... chutney posse/ guyanese baboooo)
    ------KARMA (fuh dem new type songs from karma and otha bands lyke dem)
    ------MAIN (main music collection, best remixes)
    ------MIX UP LIST (songs you dont like as much but are decent so you mix dem in)
    ------NEW (new music)
    ------NICE CD'S (playlist that has like a good set of music from da same cd's, lazy man djin)
    ------OLDIES
    ------RUM CHUNES (rum is meh lovaaaa)
    ------SHORTIES (dem short clips of music, around 30 seconds for quick mixing)
    ------UNTOUCHED (dem remixes that dont add too much... jus a lil extra beat to it)
    ----INDIAN
    -------SAME AS CHUTNEY EXCEPT WITH
    -------90'S CLASSICS (cham cham chamke, angoori, gool guppa, etc etc)
    -------BOLLYWOOD (dem ppl real indian/paki ppl does listen to)
    -------GT (dem new typa bollywood songs dat GT ppl wud dance to... sajan tumse pyar)
    -------GT CLASSICS (dem old skool gt indian songs... tu neendon ki rani/ shaadi ke liye... etc)
    -------YAADEIN (dem indian chunes yuh mudda wud put on every sunday afternoon lol)
    ----SOCA
    -------SAME AS CHUTNEY EXCEPT WITH
    -------BLACK PPL MUSIC (self explanatory lol... dey like a lil dif typa soca den indians)
    -------CARNIVAL (dem noisy carnival music dats good certain time of da year)



    so heres how I organize my music... how allyuh does do it? if yuh does organize atall lol

    well i hav my music folder, then its seperated by genres. inside those genres are songs and cd's.
    later one wen i hav time im gonna sort it out into a music folder and dj folder, so i hav all the songs i would play at a party right there
    i use vista's search feature a lot. its very useful when finding that specific song

    put everything in one folder and call it a day, but i make sure each album has its own folder

    Use itunes with following genres: 80's music, James Bond OSTs, TV OST, Techno, Soul, Soca Therapy, Soca Mix, Soca Gold, Soca Chutney, Soca, Ska, Rock, Reggae Mix, Reggae Gold, Reggae, Rock, R&B, Pop, Pagwha, Oldies, Movie OST, Ministry of Sound, Indian Oldies, Indian Movie OST, Indian Mix, Indian Golden Oldies, Indian Fusion, Indian, Hip-Hop/Rap, Gangsta Rap, Game OST, Easy Listening, Dancehall, D'Soca Zone, Comedy/Rock, Comedy, Chutney Mix, Chutney, Christmas, Calypso, Black Chiney, Bhajans, Bass, Audiobook, and lastly Alternative.

    EDIT: I have 76.3 GB in total.

    02 Hip-Hop & RnB
    03 Dance
    04 Soca
    05 Soft Rock
    06 Indian
    07 Rock & Roll
    08 Desi/Punjabi
    09 Religious
    10 Riddims
    --10-1 Culture
    --10-2 Dancehall
    --10-3 Old School
    --10-4 Soca

    In all these folders listed about, I have ONLY albums inside, full tracks.

    I have separate folders for those single songs.
