Ok, I found out why I kept getting disconnected from Xbox Live when my house phone rings. The GHZ in my Router Settings doesn't match the one on my house phone. My house phone is 5.8 ghz. In my router settings, I went through the list of ghz's but I don't see 5.8. I need help please.

Encrypted, how do I change the channel?

Mark, I don't know if I have a Wireless Router. But I'm using a wireless adapter from my Xbox 360 to the router.

Ok, my router has those 2 black antennas hanging out of each side of the router. So I guess its wireless. How do you do a firmware update?

your saying your internet disconnects when your phone rings. from that I can tell you have dsl, cuz cable doesnt have shit to do with phone lines. you say your phone is 5.8 ghz and your router is 2.4ghz. no problem there. check your dsl filters. make sure theres a filter on every phone line where theres a phone. make sure there ISNT a filter on the line that goes to the dsl modem. reset your router to factory settings. dont do a firmware update. check all that and get back to this thread
