ok so my friend has this cd that i wanted but when i put in my car to play it didnt work. so i asked him and he said it was an mp3 cd and my car doesnt play mp3's so what can i do? can u convert mp3 to regular so it can work in my car?
rip them to your computer, and burn them off as regular cd's using Windows Media Player or some sorta of burning program. Since its an mp3 cd, chances are it won't fit into one CD
you can use a program that can convert them to a regular cd format just copy the mp3s to your computer to a folder on the hard-drive then use a burning program like nero or roxio or anything similar that burns wells and create your cd normally about 13 to 18 songs fit on a cd depending on quality or encoding!
see an mp3 cd is like a compact hard drive with folders that contain songs normal cd players cannot browse these folders thats why some special cd players have a feature to play mp3 cds they have the ability to go thru the folders and pull up the track info so basically what you need to do is put the cd into ur cpu, copy them to ur cpu, and then burn them as u would any other cd.
wtf does that have to do with his question? ..Anyway... You don't have to convert anything for it to play in your car. Basically a mp3 cd holds more tracks then a regular cd, because it holds the songs using mb; not mins. So for it to play in your car you will have to rip all the tracks and burn them, you will need more then one blank cd since mp3 cd holds more. So no converting to do, basically all you have to do is burn the CD as an audio CD and it will play in your car with out a problem. So depending on how long each track is, you will know how much blank cds you will need.
ok thanks that makes sense... i have to get the cd from my friend on tuesday and then i will let u guys know if it worked or not
What you have to do is...rip this cd to your pc..in WAVE format. Burn a new cd with these WAVE format songs as an audio cd..and you're good to go. No problems at all and you doh have to worry bout the file size of dem songs...only what matters is d duration...so....if the cd is beneath d 80 min...it's all good
What has vista to do with ripping your chunes? LOL Use nero..rip all the songs from that cd WAVE format...how hard can it be bwoy......you have choices in wat format you want to rip d cd...dat is if you're using NERO..and no other cd program...coz i usin NERO myself ....burn it as an audio cd with d WAVE songs..and its done...every cd player in d car plays WAVE
ok so i got the cd right n i it wont rip on to the computer so what i did was put it back into the cd drive n hit open files n made a playlist then i transfer all the songs onto a playlist then i hit add playlist to burn then when i put in the blank cd it says it cannot b burned because the file was renamed deleted or some other thing i cant remember so idk wuts up with it
