Who is a Better Lyrical Artist? In my opinion i believe nas and Kartel are two of the best musical artist as far as lyrics. As far as rapping and overall career i will say that biggie and tupac were far more popular than Nas, but nonetheless if you actually sit down and listen to Nas's musik or google his lyrics you will actually see that everything he says is a lyrical masterpiece. Now on the other hand Vybz Kartel cant be compared to Bob Marley or Buju Banton as of yet, but he is definetly coming up in the ranks, with that said you could also read Kartel's lyrics or google and find out that his words are lyrically amazing. yeaa soo i cant choose which of the 2 artist's are better lyrically. which do you guys think is a better lyrical artist? im not talking about music... im talking about lyrics, i could compare country to hindi if i wanted, im talking strictly lyrics, and why would i compare serani or demarco to kartel? they aren't even on the same level, so you make no sence
nas' lyrics are true to life..and they convey messages to the listeners vybez lyrics are raw and pure street... i like both of their lyrics but i gotta stick wit da ol' school artist...nas

i agree wid u. jadakiss is in my opinion the best rap artist lyrically. buh i dont think its right to put up a rap artist against a reggae artist, becuz their flowsz are very different. buh if i had to choose i would choose kartel, i never really liked nas.

nas would eat kartel if he was in his prime. kartel is good aswell but like i said nas would eat him alive if given the time to prepare.
thats true but i just like reggae better overall and i like kartel better overall...so thats why i think kartel iz better...and anudda ting iz...majority of kartel's songs are great while nas songs seem to get boring
yeah nas does get boring after a while because there arent much people on his level when he gets into it. since nas stopped rapping lil ****** wayne tries to act hard and can't make a propper song for shit. also kartels songs get lame cause he uses the same line over and over again like bounty. ten years straight and kartel is still talking about tracy mcgrady and not to mention he still tries to diss other people and when they diss him he runs to make a song with a girl to act like he was busy and didnt get a chance to reply to them.
