I play down here in New York for Williamsburg and Superchargers in the WISA and NYCA leagues respectively. I play mostly for fun and competition but mainly because I like the game.

Sadly thats true there aren't many if any world class players in the US capable of playing hardball internationally and its proven by the recent failure in the Under-19 World Cup and previous international senior tournaments. Hardball is however supposedly on the rise in the U.S. especially with all the big names coming here to play.

Now softball is a game which most Americans, New Yorkers and people from Florida in particular are very talented at. There are some big names with this form cricket over here such as Dharampaul Singh, Bobby Pahalad and the list continues. However it is the least popular form of the game. The sport is growing and there's always room for improvement and new innovations in the future.

Recently a new "league" was enlisted in the NYC schools, they were not allowed to have cricket as an official sport-
in Clinton High School in the Bronx, a cricket team was created, and we went on to be bronx divisional champions, but lost in the Semi-finals against a Queens team of Indians lol.

So, yea, Play Cricket for both, for fun and a league

Yeah thats the PSAL league and there's a website and everything for that league. Its basically a school league and last year was the second year it was held. The champions of last year was Newcomers High School beating John Adams in the final.

I'm guessing you go to Dewitt Clinton HS and lost to Richmond Hill HS?
