    For this period in time you are getting terabytes for less than 150 so id rather save and go for the terabyte external because not all motherboards can handle the internal tb.

    It depend on what you will be using it for. More is always better, you can never have enough hard drive space when it comes to multimedia. Think about getting a 500 GB....it is just a little bit more.

    500gb is god and will last you your whole life unless u got da whole world of music and things i recommended getting western digital name brand.

    I would recommend WD, I got a 500g thats been working great for a while.

    I got a WD 1TB from Newegg.com for $89! Check that site out! They have great deals!

    me personally i wuld go with a 1tb but it dependsz on waht yu wanna use it for

    Just get a 1TB and you don't have to worry about space anymore. I would recommend Maxtor, I'm personally using two of them.

    Bigger is always better.. but just keep in mind that if you pack everything that you have into one hard drive, god forbid sumthing happens, u lose everything, thats y I have 2, 250gb hard drives..

    I had a western digital external and it crash, they all crash after a while, but it depends wat you're putting in it.
