Ima start it off:
I like some of the movie plots these days, but not all, majority of them are shit, the movie has little to no "indian movie magic" , as in the old days; the half naked women on tv , and the men dressing like american's and ending up looking like shit is, in my opinion a disgrace to indian cinema, considering all the movies that set the standards for it.

THe Songs:
Are shit, i havent heard anything i would like to repeadtly listen to , in 3-4 years now i havent really heard of the indian creativity that ive grown up with . Im actually wondering if Udit is outta business....

I think the movies are retarded...majority of the songs suck, only a handful of them are decent...Man Im telling you nothing beats the 90's when it comes to nice indian music

the stars are adapting to the american culture
not like long time ago the moviies actually had a good story to it
now is just about who can show more skin and cars n shit

the indian movies these days suck even the songs i've just stop watching em completely

my name is khan wasnt bad tho.

 

The only movie that caught my interest was My Name is Khan. Sharukh and Kajol always act in some good movies...plus she fine...

Songs were not bad either...other than that movie, everything else is shit...i still watchin my amitabh bachan movies, all time fav Hum and Toofan!

 

The songs are crap. 09' produced maybe 3-4 'good' songs to my liking mainly 'Don't Say Alvida' and 'Tere Ore'. But other than that, its all crap to my taste. What's coming out now is not close to being in the same class per say years like 03'-05' and obviously more in the past.

 

ill say yes...new indian movies are really good

For Example = "3 Idiots", "All The Best", "Aladin"... they were actualli really funny wit a good storyline

a movie that i really HATE for 2010 so far was "My Name Is Khan" and "Duha Mil Gaya" these movies suck....
de storyline was so crappi......im an srk fan but these 2 movies were waste of money

some indian movies are great but i guess it depends whos in it
and as for the songs in new movies...there will always be songs that some people like and some dont

but for 2010 there are some really nice movies coming out from watching the trailers like
"Kites", "Housefull", "Prince", "Koochie Koochie Hota Hai" and there are more movies coming out 2010

Honestly if u look for da rite movie u'll find dem good, I agree da movies aren't as good as they used to be n about indian movies being more western... its bound to happin, people dont wanna see a storyline like kuch kuch hota hai ova n ova. Bollywood is dominated by romance movies n das wa really gets evrybody's attention, I mean look at Shah Rukh, almost evry movie he's bin in has to do wid love, now u dont see wid him too much of dat. Sometimes these movies change da way that they do cuz da actors need a new image, I mean how long is SRK gonna play a lover boy? I rememba watchin a program n they sed of all 3 Khans, Aamir has da potential to stay around da longest jus becuz he can do multiple genres of movies. Maybe I went off topic but there's good movies out there... songs u have to look for dem too but they're out there. Some movies I wanted to see da came out last year da I dint get to see yet is Wanted, Blue, New York, Kaminey, & Kurbaan, only 2 movies I saw da released last year was Raaz 2 & London Dreams, both movies weren't as good as da oldies but they still were nice

i really like some movie plots nowadays.......some new directors are there with some excellent themes........but for new songs, it really hurt our ears and brain......

the new generation directors are young, stupid, and are influenced by american media. they've ruined bollywood.
