How Do You Guys Organize Ya Music?

    in order of type, like reggae/dancehall, soca, chutney, hindi, remixed, hip-hop

    I usually use playlists on iTunes. But all of my music got tied to iTunes so when I did my backup I accidently lost all of my files and now have to rebuild my Library. So just be careful with iTunes.

    Strictly in iTunes with the same naming conventions everywhere... I'm pretty ocd with that

    i use itunes to edit the id3 tags. ikeep my files in perfect order

    each Genre has a folder
    den within dat a song is organized first by year, den riddim, den artist, den song title for ex.
    Dancehall Folder
    -> 2002 - Diwali Riddim - Elephant Man - Elephant Message

    put dem in a folder wit da different riddims 4 reggae && den genre's 4 da rest

    i try to keep them organized - i use media monkey

    i have indian, hiphop, white, chutney, rocksteady, reggae, and wedding

    Depends...
    I organize my cd's by genre, then my single tracks, artists, albums, etc.

    I usually just list them alphabetically I usually remember what type of music it is. But certain albums i'll add a side note indian,soca etc.

    I do 2...Everything has to be Capital first letter lower case rest...no underscores only hyphens to seperate artist from song title...i cant stand track numbers only for mix cd's..not regular tracks...hmmm....this list goess onnnn

    Be careful with WD Harddrives!! I had 2 of them crash on me so far.. & i take well good care of them both!! I turned 1 on 1 day n it was showing the data was there but the folder was empty and 2 years later the other 1 jus crashed..powers up but does not read. I reformatted the 1st one though and using it as a regular daily drive jus fuh new downloads but i bought 1 from a company called Glyph..Its supposed to be a Professional Dj HDD which uses Seagate Products

    i use cd's so in my cd binder i have my chutney and hindi in the front soca reggae and raggaeton in the middle and hip hop pop house electro etc in the back
