What to Do with Old Computers?

    he guys ..i wanted to know what you guys would do with a old computer ...i have a few and i don't know what to do with them? is there a way the parts can be sold? maybe online?

    you can try selling them piece by piece on ebay......people buy anything on ebay,,,,,but im not sure if you are going to make alot of money off of it

    In my old one I've thrown a 1TB Hard drive and a HDMI capable graphics card in it and use it as my media center PC...

    Store a buncha movies, music, whatever on it... and access it all through my XBOX 360 which is hooked up to my stereo/TV...

    its not that 'old' though... 2ghz P4.... on XP pro...

    well first of all, how old? if its too old then you should contact the people who take your trash and make them dispose it properly (if you care actually) another thing u can do is donate them to schools or someone u know that needs one.

    good question! I have an acer that I bought brand new and it kept freezing. I kept sending it back and it kept freezing. It is sitting down in my closet right now ... worst thing ever. I also have hp that just shut off on me. Doesn't turn back on at all. I have no idea what to do with it.

    I'd just thrash them. Makes no sense in going through all that extra work to try and extract parts to sell and what not . I'd save all that hassle and just trash them.

    if u want buy a new one recycle them in for 50 dollar credit towards a new one or jus give someone and break the shyt infront dey face

    i rather break the shyt out of them

    jus keep it for parts, or use it as a web server . or better yet have it downloadin stuff 24/7.slap in a 2 tb or sumting and download like crazy

    take out all the parts you will probably need. then put it outside on garbage day & let a crackhead take it LOL.
