    the listen cam go on but just to name a few that can come to my head with out putting pressure on the brain are babla & kanchan, sundar popo, sunny man, ashnie, suresh wadkar (for ched milan ke & haath ki safai ka). kishore kumar, lata mangeshkar, mukesh

    My favourite singer of all time

    female ----one and only anuradha paudwal, the next nightingale of india after the legendery lata mangeshkar. So both of them automatically qualifies as no. 1 and no. 2 in the hindi film music play back singing

    male --- one and only kishore kumar. Next to him is kumar sanu. Rafi is there in the list but only third.

    Well i enjoy so many great artists that i just can't put all of them together here but here comes my list :-

    Versatility :- Kishore was the best.

    Other singers i love are Mukesh, Rafi & Hemant Kumer for their amazing songs which i still enjoy after so many years.

    Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam & Kumar Sanu for their nice romantic songs.

    Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy & Shankar mahadevan for continuing the great work....

    Lata & Asha for their evergreen voice quality & singing, they are true living legends of our country.

    Satyajit Ray & Raj kapoor & Gurudutt - For their incredible work in movie making.
