What is Maticoor Night Music?

    Wow this is kinda weird, cause im playing for a maticoor night with 1/2 guyanese and 1/2 trini memorial day weekend also lol

    Maticoor night is usually for the women. It's used for the elder women in the family to prepare the bride for the wedding and wedding life. Mehndi is usually applied for the bride, so songs that have that in it could be used. Also, during the "dig dutty" part, you would want to play tassa. After that, usually any wedding chutney songs or maticoor songs would be suitable.

    i strongly believe dj's should learn their cultures before taking jobs, and then some where down the road, feel they better than everyone (including the one's who gave them the advice), be a dj, not an imposter
