Hd Movies Sticking on My Pc

    im trying to play a matroska file but my pc stickin im runing a amd sempron 1.61ghz ,2 gb memory windows 7 help plz.....thanks

    nope its a 6.53 gig file on my hdd ...Do i need a video card?

    download the latest version of vlc media player -> http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    if that doesn't fix your problem, most likely your hd is failing or your comp just doesn't meet the requirements.

    They stick on your PC because your graphics card is not powerful enough to "buffer" the video. Google HD buffering.

    1.6 ghz on integrated chipset is not gonna cut it for 1080 video. add a video card and it'll play like butter. but before you upgrade consider a whole new system, your a bit outdated there bud.

    a cheaper solution for the while is to use the KM Player (free), there's a option to auto resize the video so you can watch the video without it sticking

    I use KMPlayer this as my default media player (plays just about every format)

    I had this issue before on a previous laptop. Obviously the video card can't handle the quality of the video you're trying to play. You're better off with a DVD rip of the video you're trying to play.

    - Don't download files you know your computer can not handle, use your brain and get what the computer can require and work with.
