Laptop Shuts Off on Own

    My PC...a Dell Vostro 1,000 shuts off on it's own on a reg. basis....I think it's due to me having a bad battery or the fan overheating but I'm not sure anyone have any insight?

    I think its overheating. Does it heat up easily when your using it?

    this happened to me. the cause was a bad battery. your best bet is to buy a new battery or just use a/c power all the time. no harm done. but make your mind up quick because if your computer keeps shutting off un-expectedly, it could mess up your c drive!!

    bad battery, mine does it too. jus use the power cord and see if it fixes the prob

    but make sure you remove the battery. its gonna get real ugly if it leaks!
