Could you explain it a little bit more clearly? I only understand that you're not getting internet. Your USB doesn't light up when you have wireless on, and when you try using the ethernet wire it doesn't connect/recognize it?

dude ure using westell model 6100, that is a DSL modem/router combination but it is NOT WIRELESS ROUTER. you would recieve internet fine if u use an ethernet cable and connect it directly to ur pc. In order to get wireless you would need to get a wireless router and bridge that to ur westell 6100.

By chance u hook up both ethernet cable and USB at di same time ? coz dat part kinda confusing when u say after u reset, USB turns on and ethernet led turns off. but once u get connection u jus need a wireless router and bridge it to your westell
