Who do you think is the best Jamaican artist right now? I know that theres a lot of up and coming artists who are doin they thing But out of the Six who gets your vote??

For me its between Vado & Signal, I've gotten tired of Kartel. Busy's whole style is just diffrent from evrybody else, I mean hearin da African shit duz get annoyin but at least its sumtin away from sex & war all da time. Decided. Vote goes to Busy Signal

Konshens, Aidonia & Jah vinci are the only ones who can compare out your list. Laden is gone.

Bounty isn't even in this whole scene, he racks up in my opinion, the original artists.

Vybz kartel is slowly killing all these new artists with every track he puts out.

Jah Vinci, Aidonia ,Mavado, and Demarco my personal fav. Einstein is doing his thing, needs to switch up his style a lil more. is deff up there. Vybz is alright. T'nez is ill, not that big yet, but hes good. Theres alot of good artists out. Oh yea how could i forget busy..LOL

Well he said "RIGHT NOW", so with that said, i have to say for the summer, alot of people forgot about Beenie Man, he released alot of tracks this summer and they have all been great tracks. Some of them may have not even gotten big but he was still puttin out great tracks. But as for RIGHT NOW!, Busy Signal takes it due to his consistency of bringing out good track after good track.
As for artists to watch out for thats coming up in the scene really fast...
1) Konshens
2) Jah Vinci
3) T' Nez

 

Imma go with Busy Signal, because he is always changing and bringing new topics
in his songs, other than singing primarily about bussing gun shots, compared
to other dancehall artists. Busy goes from loving his gyal on the night shift, to bussing
some bwoys head, to singing about pum pum, the dude is versatile, which is whats good
and makes him stand out.
