Actually no Willy, and I am not sure how this cd got leak in the first place but i do have my suspesion.. You see base on the overnite stardom Dj Sam starts to received, he was contacted by other labels to do cds and he actually submitt a rough draf copy to several labels and thats whats actually leaked.. Its a poor quality, no effects, no talking all that was suppose to get put on the cd for the final product.. I had big hopes for the cd also, I was actually planning a cd release party at Singh Roti's Shop when it was going to come out.. We were going to have Live Tassa band, a live band also and plenty food for everybody.. But all this plans had to be cancalled because of a leaker, now dj sam is on his own again..
Ohh I see bro, well judging by your icon it looks like you got another Chutney Cd coming out, so lets hope this one goes well.
Why do all them c.d. cover got to be angled and thing. Can someone post just the c.d cover not angled without looking like it's in a damn case ...lol Rep will be added
Damn Roger, sorry to hear that. I think it's getting harder to release cd these days because the DJ gets loose with the money and as you mentioned fame. It all goes to their head. I think that the mentality of most mix tape DJ's is just not like how it used to. I believe that they submit you a master, they get paid, and once they get paid they leak it themselves just for that stardom exposure and a few bucks, maybe thinking that you may make more money off them on sales. What these DJs dont realize is that people like Roger is giving people an opportunity to get their name out in the dj world. But DJS dont realize that everybody got to eat and takes advantage of good people...just saying.
not to mention, that basically what these guys all think about sometime is whats the feedback on my cd, like for e.g they will run to mastahpiece site to read comments on there cd, that mean more to them than anything, hell just the other day i see a dj himself upload a cd to this site after it was just release one day before.. I think whats going to happen is I will wait for them to upload it to mastahpiece themself and just download it and put it out then , then it will be a free master lol.. no one seems to give a shit about who fork out they money to put there cd out and weather they will even make it back.. But you will hear them saying what i don't care i getting paid.. lol..
