What Do You Think Happened at the Ending of Inception?(mvie)

Okay so at the ending of inception the top is still spinning but its wobbling is the main character still dreaming or is it reality? It is said that if he is dreaming the top wouldn't stop spinning but in reality it would fall. ( this personally ruined the movie for me )

at first it kinda left the movie really open (hated it too). but recently i read this article about the guy that plays the father he reveals the ending in a quote:

once i read that it gave me a whole new view on the movie. i guess i just need to watch it again.

it was a good ending for the most part, leaving it open to opinion makes people talk about the movie more (like we are here)
i would say the top never did stop spinning, he's still in a dream in the end

That movie might just be the best movie of 2010. Im still fkkin lost tho.

 

Here is my answer... I hope it helps...

Let's assume that top drops that means he has finished the mission and got back to his kids and lead a happy life ever after....

Description :- If he is still in the dream then he is in a 'Limbo' where if you are too heavily sedated you can't get out of the dream by killing yourself, remember just before the scene when he was found on the coast at the start and taken to confront an old man (at start & in the end) well that scene continues now (in the end) but he was drowning in the car before that..... so either he survived with someone's help from drowning (dream 1) and found the man they lost there who fell in the 'Limbo' as he was shot (in dream 1) as in other dreams no one from their team gets killed and so they achieved their mission and the top drops

I think hes not in a dream, but after all the people who made the movie want you to choose your ideal ending

Good looks to mrwickedd on that quote from Michael Cane. Had no idea he said that. I gotta admit, though, it's kinda weird that the main character's kids looked EXACTLY the same at the end as they did in the flashbacks. Didn't they age at all?
