Vybz Kartel "Mi skin pretty like a coloring book". That's some of the lyrics on his freestyle on YouTube right now.

Guess he bleached his skin to get color tattoos & the only Dancehall artist to make it mainstream in the last couple of years was Sean Paul.

So I guess that now since he looks orange, oops I mean brown he will make it mainstream now.

 

Yeah i heard that song. ^ He looks worse. But, i really don't give a rats ass what he does, as long as his music's good right ?

But, then again, It is a diss to the black race. Since they earned that color from the WHITE MANS hard labor..

 

The funny thing about this is that Kartel has been bleaching his skin a while now.

Just that people now start to notice.

Mavado sang a song in 2008 which referred to that "Nuh Bleach wid Cream & also in 2009 "Money" which indicated that Kartel was bleaching. "Watch the things what yuh teach yuh teach the youths to tattoo up & bleach.

 

Kartel is bleaching his face & his lyrics & his songs are just getting better so it's not really ah problem lol . Plus if he bleaches, that's his decision ... 2011 looks like ah good year for him.

 

Yeah i agree..His music's sounding WAY better so far. Almost all the songs he put out were good.

I don't judge the man kartel, just cause of the simple fact i ain't know him. All i WAS concerned about was how bleaching his skin would've damaged his music & reputation. It didn't really damage his rep. But increased better in his music.

BUT, +1 for kartel, +2 for aidonia. :x

 

If Kartel wants to bleach, then let him bleach. People have the right to do whatever makes them happy. We don't know Vybez personally, but if that his decision, and we should respect that.
His songs are hit after hit! "Turn & Wine" "Dumpa Truck" "Wine Fuh Me" "Bicycle" "Nah Let Go"

Kartel has put dancehall on the map so far, everyone of his songs are awesome! His song "Clarks" was on the show So You Think You Can Dance? his music is completely mainstream.

Yes Kartel is the king of dancehall now but he never put dancehall on the map dawg! there was Beenie Man who was the king of dancehall and he never bleach his skin.

Well the bottom line. Who give a ****, yuh zimmy ? If kartel wanna bleach who the hell are we to say badman doh bleach, & what difference is gonna make ? He's a grown ass man he can make decision's on his own. & personally as i stated before, i don't give a **** as long as he puts out good songs!

BUT, I think vybz kartel KNOWS he committed a sin because in his song "weh dat fah" he talks about king selassie as if he he prasied him also. Selassie was against bleaching.

It's NOT about gaza vs. gully & mavado vs. kartel, its now about about JOP vs. gaza & Aidonia vs kartel.

At the end of the day, you study kartel's lyrics then aidonia's, aidonia comes out on top.
