    Re: Windows Vs. Mac

yeah i've done it, if your interested in doing it i can write up a tutorial (for pc and mac). i once had xp/ windows 7 / OSX / linux quad boot just for kicks on a 60 gb drive LOL

lol i hate to admit it bcuz u make it sound so bad but you 100% correct. i completely turned off the UAC piece of s.hit though.

edit: as for the chap that said pc for multitaking mac for graphics, you are on crack. mac has the worst graphics ever compared to a similar pc. and no im not pc biased cuz im writing this very post on a 8 core mac pro.

    put it this way
pc is like a honda. unlimited amounts of mods, but can run into problems.
mac is like a bently, not much you can do with it, just the basics.

Windows 7 has to have soild specs... w/ them its a solid operating system.. Mac comes out the box with more than minimum specs so they always run extremely well. macs are more know for media production windows for a wide user friendly experience

It depends on what u want to do with it. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Windows FTW! Cheaper for the specs, more applications (especially if you know a couple of sites where you can get software for free :) ). BTW macs dont commonly get viruses causes no one bothers to **** up the 2 people who own a mac. As for web design, and multimedia, I don't get why people say macs are better when you can simply get sony vegas, adobe afteraffects, solidworks, maple 14 etc for windows. And you cant game on a mac. Especially on their notebooks (Cooling issues).
