Any cricket fans on here? which team u think is gonna take it this time around?

I say its gonna be between India and South Africa

 

while i would like to see west iindies the winner, i am realistic and know they don't stand a chance in hell to even meet the semi finals, so i would go with SA i think they are prime to win the whole thing. the way Kallis , Amala been playing lately they going to be a unstoppable force...

But I always have to root for my GT duo Sarwan , Chanderpaul..

 

i agree, its not like we don't have good players, its just that we have dumb selectors who don't know their heads from their asses, and a captain who just taking up space that we desperately need for another fast bowler like Taylor or Fidel.

 

never kno any team can win....but i still support westindies . there good they always have a good start but at the ead they allways mess up . but my vote is for westindies

 

yeh thats true , me personally think Ganga should be the captain for this team, I mean how de ass Sammy gets captaincy without hardly and experience playing for the west indies. Its like they just nominating anyone rass.. At least ganga is a proven winner , that lead his team to several tournament wins.. West Indies have a good battling line up but the bowling is there weakness especially on flat dead pitches that this world cup is being held at. Its a batsmen paradise, them chap will just line up and tea off on the bowlers, look just today Sewag made 175.. i predict alot of runs this world cup...

 

yup, and now since barath and baugh get injured they calling up devon thomas and kirk edwards over ramdin/fletcher/simmons and samuels??? like wtf are they actually picking names out of a hat? lol. like kirk edwards is a good batsman but has 0 experience same for thomas, i mean its the world cup you need to have your most experience players out there especially your wicketkeeper, despite his form with the bat ramdin is still the best keeper in the region. and yea ganga is really under rated an sammy should't be on the team period cuz he's just picking up valuable space that we desperately need..i think bangladesh will beat us lol

canada should have a okay tourney. cheema made 93 against england lol but i doubt dey gonna win the world cup. best bet is india or australia or SA.

yea man canada has really good players. is just that we dont get support from the government even though cricket was our first national sport!
