Vybz Kartel & Bleaching, Whats your take on it?

So theres a world of controversy over rumors of Vybz Kartel bleaching his skin (using pills or medication to lighten your skin tone) Kartel says his use of cake soap and staying out of the sun and in AC rooms made his skin tone change but i believe its bs cake soap is blue bomber its for washing clothes not changing your skin tone. Kartel's a Dancehall Mogul and is someone most kids look up to as a star and a role model, Do you believe Kartel is supporting bleaching? and if so do you think bleaching is right? Whats your take on it

I am a fan of his music, if he wants to bleach it's up to him it's his skin it's his body.

LMAO! the role model thing i can see how and how not but most people do look up to him because hes a icon in dancehall music today much like bob marley is in reggea music its his choice to do what he pleases with his body and its anyones choice to do what they want but young kids and impressionable and will follow trends and they see him bleaching as a trend. most people see bleaching as something wrong because it takes away from your culture of being black or dark brown whichever but today i think its just a fashion trend

cake soap, right! kartel is my favorite dancehall artist, but him personally i don't respect the way he carries himself, yes he has a right to be a bit cocky at times because he is the best lyricist hands down, however, i find him very much hypocritical. if u watch most of his interviews when hes asked bout being a role model he always states he never signed up to be one, yet in recent interviews he likes to brag bout being the centre of attention an the ppl being sheep n him the sheep herder. being the centre of attention like that comes wid responsibility that u should know that u gonna influence people idolizing you, and truly kartel thrives off of it, bout cake soap, shit if hes bleachin den so what hes his own man, but take some responsibility, n own up to da fact that u are influencing the yout dem, an be straight up an tell da truth
