They banned me permanently from using the ``Edit Player Card`` feature lol. I checked online on how to bypass this ban and found out that you can change your I.P. address using your computer but I think this only goes for people who are permanently banned from playing the game itself. I was just banned from using a feature. Would changing my I.P. fix this anyway? Reason for my ban: My player card emblem was the Swastika. LOL Edited** Console: Playstaion 3
so you're telling me if i decided to use the "kkk" symbol i'll get banned? that's lame, i'ver never heard of that happening to anyone on 360. i'm not sure if changing your ip would lift the ban since you'll still be under the same id. what's your isp anyway + are you behind any router?
Isn't it possible that they ban your I.P. rather than user I.D.? I.S.P.: Rogers Internet & yes, I am behind a router.
like MP said that never happened on 360 but my boy got ban out of no where lol sony steppin up there security since geohot exploited dem. they're actually monitoring ip's in case people hacking or using hebrew software or downloading games illegally.
there are a few ways to change your ip but the method below should get the job done within 5 seconds. login into your router, http://192.168.1.1/ (usually the default ip if not look up ip address to whichever router you're using). setup -> mac address clone reset the power from your modem + router & you should be assigned a new ip address.
You dont get ip banned, you get console banned and this happens on both the ps3 and xbox360 its gay, but what can you do?
I got another user created on my Playstation 3. I've played a few games not to long ago under that username and everything seems to be working fine. I was able to edit my player card as well. I guess it is the user I.D. that has been banned. Oh well. It's funny how I get banned for having the Swastika as my emblem while in Nazi Zombies mode, the Swastika is seen everywhere throughout the map!
