What Chutney Songs Come From Which Indian Songs

Look on Youtube you'll find a whole bunch of "original" indian movie songs which have the same melodies as ENGLISH songs. These chutney songs are no different. I like the older songs and many (not all) of these songs are pretty good and help keep the oldies fresh.

HAHa those are the exact parts which made me think it was that song.

To me it sounds like "Meri Dosti Mera Pyar".

my uncle told me, not sure if its true, but many sundar popo songs were copyed from ebadath khan and there were no recording studios in guyana so he went back to trinidad and recorded them, and when sundar popo when to perform in guyana he was there and the crowd booed him and ebadath khan took over. Im not sure if its true
