I called the guy back and he said I broke it and that i partioned it.I have a Windows 7 PC and a Windows XP PC. Does anyone have any idea what i should do ? Ive asked for a refund but he said i basically broke the drive and I shouldve known what i was getting into.

    What the hell? lmao
I'm guessing you bought this on the street.. or online or something. Anyway what do you want to do with this drive? Use it on your PC with windows? or as an external for data storage?

And also.. you never get the full amount of gbs. A 500 gb hard drive shows up with like 468? or 420 something? idk exactly, but its because the companies measure their bytes differently. You didn't break shit, that guy you bought it from just doesn't want to give you back your money.

Lol, i bought it from a kid Deejay, Wanted to keep my music on it so i could clean my computer and have more space for gaming. I have plenty software so i need that space too.

Yea i figured, I sold it back to my boy and got 45 bucks for it. I paid 25 in the first place lol. Funny thing is I bought it from a kid Deejay. He said that hes not Best Buy and that he'll think about it this week =/ ... I got pissed so I sold it just now.... Good thing i did, the front was coming off and was full of tape =/ ... Im never buying anything from 'bredrins' again lol

When it comes to electronics, its not wise to buy it used. There is most likely a reason for it not being wanted, and thats usually cause its defective, not cause they have no use for it.
