norton is really good but sucks cpu usage like a *****. but if you use avg, its free and too me it does the same shit. Just stop watching porn and you won't get viruses.

Avast home edition. Free, works, PREVENTS you from getting viruses. Just use it and you will see. I almost always recommend it.

I use Ad Aware and Avast. These two in combination are great.

    Search the forum.

I believe Avast Home is their free version, so if youre still after that, google is your friend.

Trigga recommended Avast nearly 2 - 3 years ago. I still use it till this day. Works great and unlike Norton, it doesn't slow down your PC and use unnecessary ram!

If you got a virus homebwoy get Malawarebytes antimalaware. scan the computer full scan. then clear the viruses it piks up. d/l it, update it, restart pc in safe mode, stay offline from internet, and run the scan. give it 30 min, and come bak, romove viruses, and restart normally. www.malwarebytes.org/

    Well, lets see here...

AVG 2011 - It definitely works, BUT the new 2011 version is such a resource hog.

Norton - Same thing as AVG, and it does get a bit annoying with those "renew your subscription" pop-ups.

Kaspersky - If you're illegal like me, you find yourself having to find a new key every couple weeks/month, it gets annoying.

Those are pretty much the ones I've had experience with.

I'd recommend a combination of Avast! and Malware Bytes. They've never let me down once. Except once, Avast! had a shoddy update which flagged everything, but that was fixed promptly. It also has a Sandbox feature so you can open files you don't trust without worry of becoming infected. :)

I think the best virus protection program is Microsoft Security Essentials and Mcafee.
