Download A Software Named "Battery Life Extender" It Will Charge Your Battery Upto 80% Then Stop Charging It (As If The Battery Was Out), This Saves The Battery From The Usual All-The-Time Charging. The Software Uses The Battery Like A Regular Computer Backup, The Laptop Runs On AC Alone & Uses DC (Battery) In The Case Of A Blackout Or Drop In Voltage. It Came With My Samsung Laptop As "Samsung Battery Life Extender"

If you're using your laptop on a desk, take out the battery. Only use the battery if you need to be mobile. Having your laptop on ac power with the battery in lowers your battery's lifespan.

pretty much what trigga said. if u have it plugged in, take out the battery. charge the battery til its 100 percent and then u have it if u got a blackout or something. but if its plugged in, no need to have the battery in.

Alrighty, What Will Happen If U Get A Power Outage Or Spike In Voltage... Also If A Battery Is Parked Up Too Long The Cells Will Stop Working As They Should And Eventually The Battery Will Be Useless, It Needs To Be Used That's Why I Recommended "BATTERY LIFE EXTENDER" Software Above...

The best way to keep a battery healthy is to charge it to about 80% and use it. If you need to plug in your laptop, charge it to 80%, then take the battery out and let the laptop run off AC power.

The worst thing you can do is leave it plugged in 24/7. That happened to me with my old laptop and now it can't hold a charge.
