i have had all types of android my fav was a rooted Nexus 1 but i always seem to end up with a iPhone. Im on verizon now with a jailbroken iPhone. All my apps are free and I'm a mac user so its more convenient for me. The only downside of iPhone on verizon is the monthly bill its too expensive and I'm on a 2 yr contract so kinda stuck

Iphone is smoother and more fun to use..rather than getting a phone with a glitchy screen the size of a tv lol...jailbreak the iphone 4s and free apps and much more customizations.. will rooting a android... well..its rooted..i went from the Tmobile G2 to the g2 and now the iphone 3gs.. and i never had a problem with my iphone since i got it...

thank u Blue for ur opinion. great speech "usability (what you want the device for, not what the device can do for you)" actually maximum people never think about this, they have the money & buy a expensive one....

Both Andriod and I-phone are good. I would go with Andriod based on customizability, the only thing I can tell you is to make sure you DO NOT do your banking on an Andriod phone based on pass experience where my account was hacked. Windows Phone 7 is a great alternative, but it too has it's short comings. No flash, no ehough apps etc. If you need a phone that is easy to use and will work without crashing go with Windows.

I had both Android phone (Nexus One) and a iPhone and they both have their pros and cons... but now I have a Windows Phone 7 (Samsung Focus S) and like it.

android all the way.. iphone is a slow kids toy & cant do half the things I need, its for people that aren't that tech savy.. I got a rooted galaxy s2 ... use as home hotspot getting download speeds up to 14 gig, and I couldnt go a day without google navigation

I had both. I can honestly say to go with the iphone being that they are really good quality phones. I was in love with android operating software, but the qualities of the phone is cheaper than the iphone. Plus, with the new iphones, they have warranty and you can go directly to an apple store and they will replace it for you on the spot (as long as its not physical damage).
