Is J.COLE worth the attention he's being given??

    Pardon my ignorance, but i was just wondering is J Cole really worth the attention i see/hear him receiving, or is it all just coz he's signed under Jay Z's RocNation Label? I know he has an album dropping next week Sept 27th, but i haven't really heard any song that made me actually inquire about him. Most of his tracks are collabos and for his singles, nothing out of the ordinary, just mixtape-worthy kind of songs. I hear some fans comparing him to Drake, but Drake has something to show. So is J. Cole just a buzz now coz there is really no-one else to give the buzz to??

    HipHop fans please advise...

    i went to a concert n he performed n it was really good. it was way better den cee lo green performance. songs like in the mornin n who dat r pretty str8.

    He has a lot still to accomplish, but for me he is better than Drake...I mean Drake came out real hot. but as a rappaer i like J. Cole better. Blow Up is a big tune. and his verse on A star is born rivals Jay's own.

    No theres a hype these artist buld-up around there career launch and then most fade out so... lets just watch a little longer and see?
