After all the high expectations of Fireworkx (and even We Ting 2 for that matter) and then the major letdown of the release - I've learnt not to bother expecting much from new cd's - though personally was pleasantly suprised with a lot of the songs on here. Some nice beats and a nice song selection, bring back memories of when i was a lil kid man and dem old folk used to party to dese tunes! IVS are taking ova kbis lol

I loved most of the songs, they were bad chunes. Also, most of the beats matched perfectly with the song to give the CD a smooth vibe.

To Tell the truth, I found it to be average overall. The song selections were great and the beats were also great. What I found bad about it was all the short songs. It kind of made me lose interest in the middle of the C.D.

i really dont live ivs, but this cd was the shit and so was its predecessor. theres not alot of sequals that are better than there maker, but bj2 displayed this quality to me.

ps:best cd's ivs has made. classic selection of songs, not that new shit that talks about sex every minute(but i do love them lol)

Yea I thought that the song selection was great and the beats finished it off but Backyard Jam 1 is still the best.

i personally think if they used the beats from BYJ2 and put it on the songs from BYJ1... that would have been one SERIOUS CD!

personally track selection on part 1 was better

but mixing on part 2 is far superior to whats even heard today from most djs.

if anyone gets there hands on tracks from part 2 good luck mixing them cuz the songs arent the most "hottest".
but if you know chutney, you will come to find out that these songs are chunes that older people know vs the entire crowd knowing.

it will take some time i think for part 2 to sink in for everyone.
i dont think backyard jam rubbed me the right way at first but it caught on.
people wanna hear new things and you give it to them the best way possible yet, they dont like it atleast some people. hypocrites maybe?
