XBOX Movies....?

    Hello,

    Question, I want to play movies on my XBOX onto my Big Screen.
    How Do I Do That?

    Please Help..

    HDMI cable ? You wouldnt need even an XBOX.
    I think they also sell the add-on which you plug into the controller port, should be cheap nowadays on Amazon or something.

    I do not have a wireless router for my xbox yet

    I notice that XBOX has the USB slots.
    Thaat couldnt work?

    na, i tried to do the same thing like when it first came out. You actually need the hookup through the controller port to actually play the DVD's. So Im thinking the limitations exist such as for the USB.

    You can always try modding it, but always risk the chance of friggin the thing up:

    the 360 supports avi format so you can copy the movies to a usb flash drive.

    i prefer to use the xbox hdmi cable and connect it to my laptop though; takes less than 20 seconds and i can watch 1080/720p ;)

    Yeah, thats exactly what I do. Another option is to use Netflix and Youtube.

    put movie on flash drive, avi or wmv format try to play, if movie does not play connect xbox to internet and try to play..... xbox will prompt for update, confirm and install...dat should do it
