I'm glad you kept this mix simple, the beat complimented the song pretty well. Two points: - try that downlifter right at the start, not when the beat drops - pretty sure that bassline isnt aligned with the kick. check the project.
Yeah, it's aligned don't worry, and I originally had the downlifter there, but I was thinking, since I put just one line from the song at the beginning, then started off the song, why wouldn't I put the downlifter where I started the song (not the line), you know what I mean? I played around with a lot of things in this, it was just a mix for fun, I was pretty bored haha
