I liked both of your mixes alot, both of them were really good ! But I think Gavin's mix was a tad better, so my vote goes for Gavin. Goodjob to both of you !

SelectahJay - gotta work on that sound quality. The first 3 oldies in particular (on Me and You beat) sounded like they'd been recorded with two tins and some string, but despite that, it was nice to hear indian songs on a "different" beat to normal west indian mixes. I know "oldies" is a general term, but Zara Sa Jhoom Loome up in the mix? Damn.

Illusion - I liked your song selection and general flow of your mix. Never heard the song you dropped at 1.37, so nice work on that. You get my vote.

both mixes were str8.i like selectah mix cause it different. i like how u gave it used a non west indian beat at first den bring in one after. thinkin out of the box (Y)

illusion mix was good. try to b more creative n think out of the box. the more out of the box u think the more u wont sound like everyone on here... but nice mix overall

JAY:i see that you tried to give your mix a different vibe with that Cassie instrumental i see where your intentions were going. but honestly i thought it was a little boring and the beat didnt flow well with the songs you had used.


iLLusion: your mix was impressive. the way the songs flowed with the beat gave it a real hyped up party feeling. also when you slowed it down the songs that you used could really attract the older crowd as well not to mention again throughout your entire mix the beats really played a big roll on how your concept on your mix is. i feel that you accommodation for both crowds young and old really gave your mix a twist.

So mi like how all ayo talk about gavin takes this .. what does he take ? I give him he has a good selection. But what else ? Generic beat ? Deadass. Wow. So like Jay dropped You and I on some songs i thought that was creative on his part. And then it would of been boring to continue with that so he brought in some hype with his generic beat. Honestly, gavin mix was boring. Jay gets points for what he did. It should that he can do more than just kicks and snare on some song. **** the polls. JAY WiNS THiS. You ****ers need to go back to acid planet days and hear REAL battles. Yall aint shit. All you ****ers do is drop a beat on a song and call it a battle or a remix. Deadass though ? Quit.
