Didn't post about any of my productions in a while. This is a sample of the the first track for my 2nd riddim for 2012. Tell me what you think. Everything made from scratch as usual, no loopage. Ajrenaline - Wine and Gwaan (Turkkle Back Riddim)
great for someone trying to break away and go into original music, and props to you for being original because i know some producers that use loops from other songs in there production, it isnt hard so keep doing ya thing, sounding nice but the snare sounds a little to heavy to me....but just my 2 cents btw who ever did the vocals great job
Thanks for the comments. As for the name I just think of random shit if I cant get a good name from one of the tracks on the riddim. I came up with Turtle Back. As my business partner Kwan said "Di riddim hard an it a shell, nuh muss turtle back?" I always pick names that make sense though, and if they dont, then I pick ones that either stand out or their just strange as ****. Realization Riddim - All tracks about the bad things thats going on in society Recess Riddim - Released at the same time as Summer Vacation. Boat Riddim - The strings sound hollow, like the inside of a boat hull. Nanko Riddim - Derived from a track on the riddim, Black Winter Riddim - Cool name, released in the winter, killin song. Cruising Altitude Riddim - First soca beat, because right now I'm jus chillin at cruising altitude Crocodile Belly Riddim - Imagine using a crocodile belly as a drum, this what the riddim sounds like. Turtle Back Riddim - Strange name + what kwan said I have a few more in between that I never mentioned but you get the idea.. lol.
