I want to install a program but the file is in .bin format, how do I get the .exe file out of this to install the program?

.bin is a disc image, like the more common file type .iso

Burn the .bin file with imgburn and install.

    OR

You can mount the image file (use it without burning to a cd) with a program called MagicDisc

Both these programs are available for free on their official sites, simply use google.

    magicdisc?

Right click the icon in your system tray by the clock. Go to mount (It should be all the way at the top), then hover over the no media drive, and then select the image file to be mounted. Locate the .bin file.
Go to my computer if it doesn't pop up automatically, and locate the mounted image or media. It'll look like you inserted a CD when u didn't.

when mounting the .bin file make sure you add the virtual drive first; another option is to use poweriso to extract the files to your hd.

Should've used Daemon Tools Lite, during installation all the necessary drivers are installed and it's very simple to use.

After the installation, you'll be required to restart your PC. Open Daemon Tools and an icon will appear on your tray, which looks like a disk with a lightning bolt. You right click on it, go to Virtual Devices, Then to the Device 0 which will say "No Media" (Usually Device 0/1/2/3 or however it organizes it, mine happens to be zero), Then click on Mount Image and select your bin file.

Daemon is the only one I know how to use properly, so that's why I'm recommending it. Just make sure not to install the sponsor software/etc.

Here's the link to it: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/products/dtLite

It's completely free. Hope you can open your .bin file. Lol.
