how can i change my i.p address

anyone know how to change a i.p address?

 

To change IP address in Windows 7
"Start" - "All Programs", "Accessories" and right click on "Command Prompt" and then chose "Run as Administrator"
or
"Start" and then type in "Search" field "cmd"
Right click on "cmd.exe" and then chose "Run as Administrator"
Type "ipconfig /release"
type "ipconfig /renew"

if that doesn't work, then chances are you have a static ip address and you have to call your provider and give them a good reason why you want it changed and they can do it for you

 

Depends on which IP Address you're referring to?
What devices are connected as part of your Network (Modem, Router, Switch etc..)?

If you're trying to change your public address (From Service Provider) and you have Dynamic Service simply reboot your Modem and Router if you have one.

If you're trying to change your local address simply reboot your router.

 

You can change your ip and maybe even mask it; but they are going to be able to read a lot of other info that they can verify you by.

 

u can by unpluging your modem...for 15min to 24 hrs...chances is the moden will grab a new ip

 

i use a program called super hide ip. lol

 

To change your IP you need to first determine if your IP from your carrier is static or dynamic. If dynamic best way to change it is to just disconnect your modem over night plug it in the morning and you'll have a new IP
